Have you ever wanted to view the night sky through a telescope? If so, you don’t want to miss this opportunity for a free look through telescopes provided by amateur astronomers from the St. Louis Astronomical Society.
See an amazing view of the moon, Jupiter, and Saturn. Learn to find Polaris (our North Star) and “star hop” around the night sky. Get acquainted with the new Library Telescope that is now available for checkout from the Maplewood Public Library and other libraries around the area. Bring the whole family for an evening of fun!
The library will be open longer hours to allow for better visibility of the night sky.
