Some folks who ordered a pizza Monday night had it delivered in a Maplewood firetruck. The Professional Firefighters of Maplewood helped deliver pizza and checked smoke alarms for fire prevention week.
The firefighters teamed up with Dominos and Marcos Pizza, and checked residents’ smoke alarms while the pizza was delivered. If the alarms were in working order the firefighters paid for the pizza.
If you need your batteries or smoke alarms checked or replaced you can always call the firehouse at 314-646-3666 and they will come by your home, according to the Professional Firefighters of Maplewood.
