Firefighter/Paramedics from Brentwood, Maplewood and Richmond Heights are attending a week-long training session with several surrounding departments to become state certified Driver/Operators, Maplewood Professional Firefighters reported on Facebook.
The Richmond Heights Fire Department also posted photos of the training on Facebook.
The firefighters are training on driving, the inner workings of pumping a truck in various scenarios and acquiring water sources.
