Fort Taco, the taco and enchilada takeout restaurant at 8106 Manchester, is set to open Nov. 15, according to its Facebook post Tuesday. They’ve been working on opening since May.
Owners, Gabe Patino and Tyson Martinez, named the restaurant as a nod to their hometown, Fort Madison, IA.
They said the recipes come from their families, two generations ago. Patino told 40 South News in May the recipes come from Mexico, and everything is made from scratch every day.
“We’re focused on the experience,” Patino said in May. “Friendly service, where they say your name, and thank you; and quick too.”
