The Hadley Township Democratic Club’s forum for the Maplewood Ward 3 City Council candidates is set for Monday at the Bottleworks.
Candidates Jennifer Schmidt, Kristen Spencer and Steve Terelmes have all confirmed they will take part. The race is for the council seat Barry Greenberg vacated when he was elected mayor. The special election is Tuesday, August 8.
The forum is set for Schlafly Bottleworks, 7260 Southwest Avenue, on Monday, July 24 from 7:30 – 9 p.m. The club is working out the details of how the forum will be run.
After the forum, the club members will vote on which candidate they would like the club to endorse.

The format of the forum is as follows:
7:30 – 7:45: Attendees may write down and submit questions for the candidates.
7:45-8:00: Each candidate will have a few minutes to make a personal statement.
8:00-9:00*: Candidate Q&A: Each candidate will have the opportunity to answer each
question.
*Post forum, members of the Club are asked to stay and submit their vote for endorsement.
