Brentwood Citizens for Responsible Government recently published an open letter in The Pulse to the Brentwood community about the city’s “checkered” history with employee compensation.
The city works with Higbee Associates every two years to review employee salaries. Higbee’s latest report states that its goal is to make every Brentwood employee eligible for a raise in 2021. It goes through “convoluted machinations” to achieve the goal, the letter states.
A representative of Brentwood Citizens for Responsible Government gave 40 South permission to post its letter here. 40 South contacted Brentwood for a comment but has not received a reply.
