Jen’s Resale (8516 Manchester Road), which opened in Brentwood in January 2014, is temporarily closed for the first part of January 2015 to repaint, reorganize and rename.
The shop’s new name will be The Iron Nest Boutique. Owner, Elizabeth Milbourn expects to reopen Jan. 12.
“We have experienced sickness, healing, friendship, hardship. birth, surgeries, celebrations and relocations. The process has been unpredictable and I am blessed to have experienced it with amazing friends,” she said on Jen’s Resale Facebook page.
Milbourn partnered with Jennifer Tobias to open the shop about a year ago. Tobias left to start a new business in Illinois several months ago, and Milbourn had a different partner, temporarily. Milbourn will still manage the furniture side of the business; two employees will take care of the clothing side.
Milbourn plans to reopen as The Iron Nest Boutique Jan. 12, and says to watch Facebook for updates.
Kings & Queens Barber & Beauty has replaced Wise Warrior MMA at 8514 Manchester Road, next to Jen’s Resale.
