A Maplewood resident sent this report and photo to 40 South of a sycamore being removed from a tree lawn at Maple and Hazel avenues. He called it a “crime scene.”
He said when questioned, the city public works director said that one tree is coming down because it was diseased.
“Apparently the doppelganger still standing tall next to this tree is only being trimmed. We have witnesses on hand ensuring its safety,” he said.
