The owners of Shoe Stop, at 2590 S. Brentwood Boulevard are set to close the location at the end of the year and sell the building.
A franchise laundromat, CD One Price Cleaners, from Westchester, IL, is set to close on the building in January and begin the buildout in February; owner, Pinakin Patel, said Monday night it should take about 90 days. Brentwood officials approved the deal Monday night.
The buildout will include removal of the pole sign and installation of a monument sign. The peaked roof in the back will be built over to make it square, according to the architect, John Pfaff.
According to the The CD One Price Cleaners website, they “guaranteed quality and same-day service at one low price to dry clean all garments, men’s and women’s.”
