Man arrested for assaulting girlfriend, police say

Monday, Jan. 13

  • A 21-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 2200 block of Yale Avenue. Police went to the location for a disturbance call where they found the subject who was intoxicated and creating a disturbance.
  • A property damage at a residence in the 3300 block of Cambridge was reported. A side door had been forced open and damaged. No property was reported missing.
  • A 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were arrested for breaking into several vehicles in the 7900 block of Manchester. Stolen property from the vehicles was found on one of the suspects. Both were charged with property damage and stealing.

Tuesday, Jan. 14

  • Police responded to the 3700 block of Cambridge Avenue for a reported domestic disturbance. An investigation revealed a man and a woman had been arguing. The man left before police arrived. No arrests were made.
  • A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing approximately $110 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of stealing approximately $390 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

  • A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police responded to the 2400 block of Laclede Station Road for a reported domestic disturbance. A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
