Chris Butler, 31, of St. Louis, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, according to court and police records.
Police report they responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in the 2100 block of Bellevue Avenue on March 12, 2016. Butler was in the driver’s seat, and was unresponsive to the officer’s contact.
The officer opened the door to make are he did not need medical attention. In plain view the offer saw a plastic bag containing individually wrapped clear plastic bags containing a white/brown powder. Butler was arrested. A search of the vehicle revealed seventeen individually wrapped clear plastic bags each containing two blue tablets and four individually wrapped clear plastic bags containing a white rock-like substance. Lab confirmed the substances to be cocaine base, heroin and alprazolam.
