A St. Louis man has been charged with shooting out car windows in Maplewood, as well as Shrewsbury, Clayton and St. Louis, with charges pending in Rock Hill and Webster Groves for the same crime, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Andre Armstrong, 19, told police he and some friends used a BB gun to damage parked cars in mid-November, according to court documents.
In Maplewood alone he is charged with damaging 13 cars, according to court records. In Clayton 62 were damaged.

“Their reason was to just have fun — no agenda, no motive. They were just out having a good time,” Lt. Mark Smith of Clayton police told the Post-Dispatch. Clayton police used surveillance video showing the getaway car’s license plate to make the arrest.
They shot out a window on both of our vehicles. That’s a lot for a family to replace out of pocket.
