Andrew Gates, Missouri Department of Transportation communications specialist, has shared an update of what to expect for approximately spring and summer 2022 along the Manchester Road project between Big Bend and Lindbergh.

According to Gates:

The full closure on Manchester just west of Hanley Road is still underway for the next three months as crews replace the Black Creek bridge. You can see some photos of the work underway on MoDOT’s Flickr album: 2022-06-02 Route 100 at Black Creek | Flickr

The around-the-clock lane closures in Rock Hill for the Deer Creek bridge should be wrapping up in the coming week, while the lane closure in each direction in Brentwood at Mary Avenue continues for about another four months.

Although not directly associated with our project, Metropolitan Sewer District crews will close eastbound Manchester east of Hanley Road, just east of our Black Creek closure.  At this time, we anticipate the two-month closure to start before morning rush hour on June 20. Drivers can use Hanley, West Bruno Avenue and Laclede Station Road to detour around the closure. You can see detour information here: https://www.modot.org/sites/default/files/documents/MSD%20CSO%20Repair%20Detour%20Route.pdf

Around the remainder of the project, crews continue to work on drainage, sidewalk, and entrances at various locations throughout the project from Kirkwood Rd to Big Bend.
