With an April 23 deadline, the Cafe on the Park Kickstarter has raised just $660 out of the needed $7,000 to qualify for the funds.
The hopeful Maplewood restauranteur, Reggie Davis, gets none of the $7,000 if her Kickstarter goal isn’t reached.
Davis had hoped to open the restaurant, at 7310 Manchester Road, last September. The space was previously T. Rohan Interiors. Rohan has moved his business to the second floor and is leasing the first floor.
Davis has worked at the Brentwood Schnucks for more than 20 years, and worked her way up from checker to food bar manager. While at Schnucks, she also became a caterer, as part of the catering company, 7 Ladies and a Spoon, according to her Kickstarter information.
