Following a busy Small Business Saturday — one Maplewood merchant reported a 75 percent increase in business over last year’s event — hordes came out for the Maplewood Christmas Tree Walk Friday night.
The night was the last in business in Maplewood for J&E Office City, which is moving operations to Fenton. Owner Jerry Gibbs cracked a bottle of Champagne in the store to celebrate 40 years of business in Maplewood.
