The first votes will be taken at the Maplewood City Council at its meeting on Tuesday (beginning at 7:30) to grant a conditional use permit to Raising Cane’s to operate a restaurant at 2707 S. Big Bend.
The Maplewood board of adjustment previously approved the restaurant’s request to reduce the space between parking and the street from 15 feet to five. The planning and zoning commission also approved the proposal.
The council will also consider:
- Amending an ordinance to allow craft beer stores within the Community Business District
- A conditional use permit to Abby Bolyard to operate a sandwich shop at 2810 Sutton (Bolyard’s Meats & Provisions)
- A conditional use permit to Dana Huth and Ben Triola to operate Mauhaus Cat Cafe at 3101 Sutton Boulevard
