Maplewood firefighters Matt Wilcox and Terrance Jackson faced off against firefighters from a St. Louis firehouse in a barbecue contest at Walmart on Saturday. KC Masterpiece donated $5,000 to the winner for a charity of their choice. Maplewood planned to donate to Maplewood charities, but the St. Louis firefighters won a close one.
