The Maplewood Pool is an extraordinary asset to our life in this small town. It opens once again this Memorial Day weekend just as it has for the last (approximately) 85 years. I’m not exactly sure what year it opened.

My first job was at the Maplewood Pool in the summer of 1972. I was a basket girl. I gave you a metal basket for your clothing and we stored them while you swam. It was a really fun job to have!
