Zachary Eli Cain, 26, of the 7500 block of Ellis Avenue in Maplewood, was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated offender on November 24, 2015 according to police and court records. He has been charged with DWI on three previous occasions.
On November 24 Cain hit a vehicle on the ramp to Interstate 64 from South Big Bend. A Richmond Heights police officer could see bleeding from the mouth and nose of the driver whose car Cain hit. The driver was taken to the hospital. The officer saw clues of intoxication in Cain, including watery, glassy eyes and uncertain speech.
Cain admitted drinking alcohol. He provided a sample of his blood, which indicated a .333 blood alcohol concentration. It is illegal in Missouri to drive with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or above. Cain was held on a $50,000 cash only bond
So cut off his right foot before he kills someone. Simple. Drunk drivers hurt others. Repeat offenders nerd harsher punishment!
