Curtis Alford, 20, from Maplewood, was charged with 10 felonies after using pepper spray at about 12:30 p.m. on Saturday to steal a pickup truck from two women in downtown St. Louis, then intentionally hitting two witnesses as he sped away, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has reported.
Alford’s charges include robbery and multiple counts of assault and armed criminal action.
One of the people hit was Mike Arnold, the owner of the party bus, Gus Gus Fun Bus. A GoFundMe account has been set up to help pay for medical bills.
