Wednesday, Sept. 17
- Police arrested a 25-year-old woman for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- Update from last week’s blotter: A residential burglary was reported on Sept. 13 in the 2100 block of Bellevue. Someone forced entry into the residence and stole electronics. Police identified the suspect responsible and arrested a 27-year-old man on Sept. 17. Burglary charges are pending at this time.
Thursday, Sept. 18
- Police arrested a 29-year-old man for a drug violation which resulted from a traffic stop in the area of Manchester Road and Roseland Terrace.
- A leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident occurred in the 7300 block of Manchester. A parked vehicle was struck. The suspect vehicle was described as a silver passenger vehicle.
Friday, Sept. 19
- Police responded to the 7300 block of Manchester Road for a reported disturbance outside a business. When they arrived, they saw four men yelling and arguing with one another. They were issued summons for affray.
- Police arrested three men subjects for stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. Two of the subjects had numerous active warrants through other agencies. One subject was additionally charged with a drug violation.
Sunday, Sept. 21
- Police arrested an 18-year-old woman for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- Police responded to the 2300 block of Laclede Station for a reported disturbance. A man and woman had been involved in an argument over personal matters. No arrests were made or charges filed.
Walmart has not been a blessing to our community. More crime since they have opened. I wish it had never moved in.
