Maplewood resident announces run for Ward 3 council seat; Update: he has the signatures

Scott Criscione announced this week on Twitter that he would be taking a petition with 65 signatures to Maplewood City Hall to file to run for a Ward 3 council seat in April. Criscione is a Realtor.

Update: Criscione posted on Twitter on Monday that he officially has enough signatures to be on the ballot to run for the council seat.

Eleanor Pardini has announced she is running for Ward 2 in April. Ward 2 council member Tim Dunn’s term expires in April, 2019 and Ray Crader’s expires in 2020.

Jason Goldkamp announced on his Facebook page, that he is running for the Ward 1 seat. Current Ward 1 councilwoman and deputy mayor, Karen Wood’s term expires in 2019.

  1. There’s some VERY disturbing content on Scott’s twitter account, including him in digital blackface and use of the N word. This is not someone who represents any of the values of Maplewood. We MUST keep Jenny Schmidt in, and keep hate out.

    • Jenny Schmidt is the incumbent, running for reelection against this person. Jenny’s been a great, new voice for Ward 3 and all of Maplewood. I think it’s really important that she retains this position.
