KSDK and KMOV are reporting that more than 25 Hispanic-owned restaurants in the St. Louis area are taking part in a temporary shut-down to protest President Donald Trump’s plan to mass-deport undocumented immigrants. Maplewood’s Locoz Tacoz is one of them.
Tyler Garcia, owner of Locoz Tacoz, told KMOV that the point of the shutdown is to show what it would look like if the restaurants weren’t there long-term.
Many of the restaurants are closing for a week, beginning Tuesday, February 11. Locoz Tacoz in Maplewood (7374 Manchester Ave.) will only close Feb. 10-12 (Monday-Wednesday), due to a prior catering commitment, according to an employee.

Does anyone have a list of the restaurants taking part?
