Maplewood’s Vom Fass shop (7314 Manchester Road) and its owner Anita von Ballmoos in January was named the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce business of the year. Now Vom Fass USA has given her national recognition, according to a press release from the company.
In February Vom Fass USA awarded her its “Ambassador of the Year Award” at its U.S. franchise partners meeting in Madison, WI. There are more than 20 shops nationally.
“This shop is becoming an integral part of the community here in St. Louis and we couldn’t be happier of all that they are doing to build and spread our unique brand locally,” company president, Justin Gibson, said.
Von Ballmoos said her staff goes to “great lengths to ensure everyone entering our shop receives the complete Vom Fass tasting and learning experience.”
Vom Fass sells imported European oils and vinegars, as well as spirits, wines and spices.
