The Summer Concert Series at Ryan Hummert Park is one of the most time honored traditions in Maplewood. On the fourth Wednesday of the month May through September, from 6-8 p.m., the community comes together for a night of free entertainment.
Each year bands are selected for a broad community appeal, according to the Maplewood Community Betterment Foundation. As a result, concert-goers are a reflection of Maplewood’s multi-generational community, from senior citizens to young couples and groups of singles to families with children.

It’s an opportunity for friends and neighbors to meet one another, catch up on community news and relax on a summer evening near their homes.
The August concert also serves as a food drive benefiting the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District’s food pantry. This year will be the fourth “Concert For A Cause”.
Admission is free. The concerts are presented by the Maplewood Community Betterment Foundation, with support from the City of Maplewood and local businesses.
