Students in Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School’s music classes last week received a gift from the American Recorder Society of eight new music stands, according to Mary Magdalen Catholic School.
Teacher Denise Dolan was awarded the Educational Outreach Grant from the society, valued at over $270.
“Grades four, five and six are playing the recorder, but all our music students will benefit from this generous gift,” Dolan said. The American Recorder Society awards the grant to those who support recorder education.
like to see anything good for the school. went there from 64to72.
How dearly I love Ste. M.M. Church and School. It is wonderful to see their program recognized–as recorders require a lot of discipline and attention to detail. Discipline and attention to detail is what one receives when attending that school. God bless them.
