Alicia Louise Dunn, 29, of Mascoutah, IL, has been charged with stealing $913 in merchandise on March 31 from the Brentwood Target store, according to police and court records.
Dunn and a female companion put some merchandise in a shopping cart; some of the items they hid inside a plastic tote and other items were hidden in a purse they carried.
A male companion came into the store at one point, contacted the women, then went outside and moved a car closer to the store entrance, before going back in to meet up with Dunn and the other woman.
Dunn pushed the cart out of the store with out making any attempt to pay for the merchandise. She was caught outside the store and the stolen merchandise was recovered. She confessed to the theft.
