The McDonald’s at Deer Creek, which closed on July 15 with one-day notice, will reopen in August, Neil Getzlow, McDonald’s USA Heartland Region communications manager said in an email Monday.
“Right now, the site will be down about 30 days or so, could be more or less,” Getzlow said. “It’s not a re-build or remodel. We are just doing some maintenance at the location, inside and outside of the restaurant.”
He said McDonald’s will have specifics about hiring as they get closer to re-opening. The employees at the Deer Creek restaurant were offered jobs at other area McDonald’s.
The border between Maplewood and Webster Groves goes through the middle of the Deer Creek McDonald’s, and it’s licensed in Webster Groves.
