Richmond Heights City Manager Amy Hamilton said Monday by email that the contractors turn-over for internal setup will take place soon and Menards needs a couple of months after that to open.
The store “tentatively” hopes to open on March 1.
She said the city e-newsletter has construction updates. It goes out every Tuesday afternoon.
Competition is good and the public will have the best stores still open if one were to close. Costco would be thrilled to have a space which would create even greater tax revenue than a hardware store. Plenty of room for 2 club stores with SAMs nearby.
Three munis. Three hardware big boxes. 1 strip of Hanley. Only Two will survive, leaving a neighbor with depleted sales tax revenue and a high profile eye sore… Who will it be?!?!
Home Depot will be the one to close.
