Citizens National Bank once again hosts a model train setup for the holiday season. The American Flyer “S” Gaugers club has set up the model train track at the bank since 1989.
The setup is an authentic reproduction
of a display from the Gilbert-American Flyer Company, circa 1955.
Citizens National Bank opened its doors in 1915, and has been at 7305 Manchester Road since then. Citizens was on the original Route 66, as it went through Maplewood, from 1926-1933.
