The former Blind Tiger spot, at the corner of Manchester and Sutton, is set to become True Sites, a “one-of-a-kind Alaskan-themed restaurant,” owner Michael True told St. Louis Magazine.

True said his grandparents traveled the Alaska Highway and their stories hooked him. He said he “really felt a part of it” after watching Northern Exposure in the ‘90s.

The interior of True Sites will be a cross between a hunting lodge and a woodsy campsite.

“Expect to see rustic wood furniture, wool and bear rugs, hunting and fishing paraphernalia, snowshoes, skis, the back end of an Airstream trailer, perhaps, and heads, mounted trophy heads—moose, deer, bison, buffalo, caribou…”  according to St. Louis Magazine.

Look for AK Warming Pots, Frontier Salads and Big Game Burgers on the menu.
