Maplewood Richmond Heights boys basketball raced to a 12-0 lead against Carnahan, then stumbled but managed to hold down Carnahan for a 60-42 win Thursday at Maplewood,
according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
“We have to be better rebounding, we have to be better about turning the ball over and we sure have to be b
etter shooting free throws,” Frazier told the Post-Dispatch. “Free throws are free shots — you have to make them.”

Maplewood senior guard Drew Weaver had a game-high 23 points, 13 in the first half. Junior post Chris Blocker he scored 20 points, hauled in 17 rebounds and blocked four shots. Weaver was giving his big man all the credit Thursday night.
“Everything started with him, feeding the post and coming out,” Weaver said. “Our game came from an inside-out game.”
MRH is off until Jan. 3, when they travel to O’Fallon Christian (3-5).
