Maplewood Richmond Heights sophomore Malik Stewart on Saturday took first place out of 86 runners in the Class 1-2 race in the annual Hancock Invitational cross country race at Jefferson Barracks.
David Barton posted on the MRH Booster Club Facebook page, “This post doesn’t do justice for what this young man accomplished yesterday in the heat and on one of the biggest and toughest XC meets in the state of Missouri that was held at Jefferson Barracks.”
The race is 5,000 meters. See complete race results at MO Mile Split.
