About 40 Maplewood Richmond Heights High School students mopped and scrubbed at the VFW Hall in Richmond Heights on Friday for the September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance.
Patrice Bryan, the semester service teacher at MRH directed the work. She said they had planned to do some exterior painting, but a chance of rain changed that.
The students trimmed plants and cleaned up outside and mopped the floor in the hall, which Bryan said MRH students had installed last year.
