Five Maplewood Richmond Heights volleyball team members have been named to the Suburban Central American All-Conference team, according to MRH School District. Also, MRH coach, Cheryl Carmon, was named Coach of the Year. MRH won the conference championship.
Gracie Biedenstein won Player of the year.
Taylor Abutalebi and Kelsey VanHook made the All-Conference First Team.
Teeya Jones and Janai Robinson were named to the All-Conference Second Team.
Carmon said, on the MRH site, that her players this season performed on the court and are excellent students, too.
“To move to a new conference and win the conference championship feels great,” Carmon said. “Earning the title of Coach of the Year for the conference is also a great honor. I am truly blessed to have coached such wonderful athletes.”
