Maplewood Richmond Heights wrestling coach Brandon McClure sent 40 South an update on how the team did in the Civic Memorial Tournament in Bethalto, IL, last weekend. He also sent photos of several Blue Devils on the podium.
On Tuesday MRH had a home meet against Westminster and Cleveland NJROTC, beating them both. The night was MRH wrestling alumni night. MRH is 3-1 on the season.
This is McClure’s first year as head coach. He graduated from MRH in 2005 and was a state placer his senior year. He was assistant coach the last three years.
The team also did the Mascot Bell Ringing Competition for the Salvation Army at the Maplewood Walmart on November 19. After bell ringing they went to CiCi’s pizza as a team for lunch.
