Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District crews are cleaning up a sewage spill in parts of Richmond Heights and Maplewood, KSDK reported on Tuesday.
The affected areas of the creek run through Lindbergh Park, Trolley Park, Kellogg Park and parts of Hampton Branch Creeks according to KSDK. Cleanup will take place through the week.
MSD says there’s no immediate threat to public health or safety. Warning signs have been posted at parts of the creek where people may come into contact with it.
Anyone who comes into contact with the water should immediately wash with soap and water.
