Sewer main work on northbound Big Bend is being delayed by the recent rain the Metropolitan Sewer Districts reports.
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District reported Tuesday that crews with the MSD are repairing a sewer main near the intersection of Big Bend and Rupert. The repair requires traffic to be diverted around the northbound lanes of Big Bend from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is completely open to traffic from 2 p.m. to 9 a.m. to avoid morning and evening rush hours.
MSD crews began work on the sewer main Saturday, hoping to have the repairs completed Monday, but repairs have been delayed by rain. This sewer handles both waste water and storm water.
Look for updates on the work on the MSD website.
