Southwest Avenue, closed between McCausland and Bellevue avenues since April 2015 so Metropolitan Sewer District could lay storm sewer pipes, is scheduled to reopen Feb. 22, according to the Metropolitan Sewer District.
MSD spokesperson Sean Hadley said St. Louis city is scheduled to lay asphalt on Southwest at some point after it reopens, which will again close it, temporarily.
Crews have started laying pipe on Bellevue Avenue, going from Southwest to Bruno Avenue. MSD spokesperson Sean Hadley said there could be “limited closures” and “limited lane restrictions” during the work on Bellevue.
