The League of Women Voters has an online service that makes it easy to see what will be on your ballot on April 4, and see information supplied by the candidates themselves. It’s Vote411.org.

Just go to Vote411.org, enter your address, then click ‘Get personalized information on candidates and issues.’ Any city council or mayoral races will show up for your address.

In Maplewood, Barry Greenberg and Patrick Jugo are running for mayor. Both have  supplied information to the League of Women Voters.

From Vote411.org, Greenberg’s priorities:1. Help guide city government in establishing responsible policies and priorities, allocating its resources efficiently and working with neighboring cities to eliminate redundancy. 2. Maintain the business district’s success and expand it from the city limits to the MetroLink station. 3. Make the city more age-friendly and accommodating for citizens with disabilities.

Patrick Jugo’s priorities: Planning, including proactive revisions to the comprehensive plan and zoning code, ensures future (re)development maintains our walkable, livable, sustainable and resilient environment. Continued infrastructure reinvestment fortifies our base and sets the course for our future. Emphasizing social needs such as seniors, safety and enforcement and effective communication.

In Brentwood, both candidates — Barbara Clements and Chris Thornton — have supplied information.

From Vote411.org, Clement’s priorities: 1. To sustain and improve our outstanding city services: police, fire, streets, parks and recreation. 2. To work to fill empty commercial property, maintaining Brentwood’s strong economic position while addressing abandoned and neglected properties that can be a detriment to home values. 3. To continue current efforts to abate the flooding along Manchester Road.

From Vote411.org, Thornton’s priorities: Fiscal responsibility and transparency: continue ensuring that we spend the taxpayers’ money responsibly and in a completely transparent manner. Capital projects: making Brentwood more bikeable and walkable, exploring plans for flood mitigation in the Manchester corridor and connecting to the Great Rivers Greenway. Enforcement of our public health and safety ordinances.

Information is also on Vote411.0rg for the Brentwood School Board race.

All St. Louis County residents will vote on Proposition P — “a one-half of one percent sales tax for the purpose of providing funds to improve police and public safety in St. Louis County and each of the municipalities within St. Louis County.”
