Two local groups with national touring schedules — Clockwork and Bella & Lily — are set to play the Maplewood Community Betterment Foundation concert at Ryan Hummert Park, on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Clockwork is a St. Louis-based group consisting of Jordan Slone (guitar/vocals), Logan Slone (bass/vocals) and Logan Mohler (drums/vocals). They have been creating their brand of “sometimes-raucous/sometimes-beautiful rock music slathered in memorable melodies and striking harmonies” since 2011 — before they were of legal driving age.
The trio has drawn the attention of Alternative Press magazine, had songs licensed to MTV, E! and Discovery, and have shared the stage with acts such as O.A.R., Chuck Berry, Blues Traveler, Interpol, The Urge and Never Shout Never.
Bella & Lily appeared at LouFest in 2012, performed at Fair St. Louis in 2014, have licensed their songs to 14 different television programs, including “MTV’s The Real World” and “Teen Wolf.” Lily’s song “Chase the Moon” finished third in the International Songwriting Competition from among more than 19,000 entries.
The concert will also be the annual Concert for a Cause Food Drive benefiting Maplewood Richmond Heights School District’s “Weekend on Wheels” program. The Maplewood Methodist Church will provide a sno-cone to anyone who donates three or more canned food items, just as they’ve done in the past.

Clockwork was amazing. I didn’t get there in time for the first artist but Clockwork killed it. These guys are so talented and genuine for their young ages. I’m been a fan for only a few months, but I’m now a loyal fan. I wish I had known about the canned food drive before last night, so I could bring canned goods, but I came from IL so, I didn’t get to. However, it was a great, cool evening for entertainment.
It was a fun concert.
Looks like a great concert and for a great cause…..don’t forget your canned goods (plural)….lol.
