Shrewsbury Lanes, under new ownership the last three years, now has the newest automated scoring system from QubicaAMF, requiring no math or figuring out which pins are down to keep score.
Co-owner Brad Pollard said the only thing bowlers need to do is enter names, which can be done from the front desk. He said the cost of the new system, plus new wood for the front of the lanes, and installing more bumper lanes (total 14 now) was about $23,000.
