Area home brewers and anyone who just likes fresh beer might be interested to know that Schlafly Bottleworks will add a VIP Brewer and Tasting Tour the third Saturday of each month beginning in February, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
There will be a fee for the new tour. An hour-long free tour of the brewery is already offered.
“As a brewer, this is the best way to taste a beer, and it’s the freshest you’re ever going to have,” Bottleworks’ brewer Jared Williamson was quoted in the Post-Dispatch.
Schlafly Bottleworks opened at 7260 Southwest Avenue in Maplewood in 2003.
