The insurance company for Evangel Temple on Sutton Boulevard in Maplewood told the church to erect a fence to stop pedestrians from taking a short-cut behind the church — south to Bolyard’s Meat & Provisions or Livingroom, or north to Maya Cafe, for example, a member of the church has said.
He said the insurance company saw the pedestrians on a surveillance camera. A hedge of evergreens there has been removed.
