A restaurant specializing in New Orleans fare is set to move from Soulard to take the space left by Harvest Restaurant (1059 Big Bend Blvd.), which closed in June, Sauce Magazine reported Wednesday.
Riverbend Restaurant & Bar owner, Sam Kogos, hopes to open in the new Richmond Heights location in October.
Kogos said his current location has issues, including a kitchen that’s too small.
From Sauce Magazine:
The new location has a full industrial kitchen including a range, hood, fryer and walk-in cooler that will allow Riverbend’s executive chef Steve Daney and Kogos to expand the menu. “I’m going to be able to do so much more stuff I can’t do now,” said Kogos, who hopes to add a fresh fish option, charbroiled oysters, fried fish and more to his menu.
