2418 S. Big Bend is set to open as a hair salon called Petal. in 2015 the owner of the tinting business there opened a skate shop on the side.
The city council took the initial votes for a salon at 2867 Laclede Station Road in the council meeting on Tuesday.
Eric and Teresa Bess opened Flying Tiger Motorcycles in 2010 in Maplewood selling scooters and motorcycles. In the pandemic the business was condensed to service only. They moved the shop to 3112 Ivanhoe Ave. about a year ago, according to an employee. The owners haven’t responded to a question about why they moved. The space is currently for lease.
