Niche, an on-line resource that helps parents assess schools nationwide has ranked Maplewood Richmond Heights the thirteenth best school district in Missouri; Brentwood follows at fifteenth.
The website based its rankings test scores, student-teacher ratio, and reviews from parents and students. Letter grades were awarded in a variety of categories.
MRH earned ‘A’ grades for diversity, health and safety; ‘A-‘ for academics, teachers, and college prep (A-); clubs and activities rated a ‘B+.’
Brentwood earned ‘A’ grades for academics, teachers, and health and safety; ‘A-‘ for college prep; and ‘B+’ for clubs and activities and diversity.
As a community (place to live, not the school district), Niche gave Brentwood an ‘A+’ and Maplewood an ‘A.’ Richmond Heights was given an ‘A+.’
What was Webster ranked ?
Webster (the community) was given an overall A+ and is ranked #9 in Best Places to Live in Missouri (Brentwood is #6, RH is #3, and Maplewood is #46). See: https://www.niche.com/places-to-live/webster-groves-st-louis-mo/
Webster (the school district) was given an overall A+ and is ranked #8 in Best School Districts in Missouri (Brentwood is #15, and MRH is #13). See: https://www.niche.com/k12/d/webster-groves-school-district-mo/
Maplewood Richmond Heights is one school district. Why two grades?
From what I understand, those grades (the last paragraph) are about the communities themselves and are determined based on factors such as housing, safety, nightlife, weather, diversity, jobs, cost of living, commute, etc.
