The city of Maplewood has been working with Great Rivers Greenway and the city of St. Louis to extend the Deer Creek Greenway from the Deer Creek shopping center through Maplewood and the City of St. Louis to connect to the River des Peres Greenway.
Project partners are hosting a community meeting on Wednesday, November 14, from 5 – 9 p.m. at the Maplewood firehouse (7601 Manchester Road) to gather feedback from residents and businesses about potential intersection options along the proposed route.
Project leaders will be giving duplicate, 30-minute presentations at 7:30 and 8:30. We want to hear your likes and dislikes about each of the potential intersection options.
The Maplewood City Council approved going ahead with the project in April.
