Patrick Dignam filed Tuesday morning to run for Brentwood municipal judge. In 2011 he lost to 32-year incumbent, Ron Hill.
Dignam said he’s prosecuted and defended people, so he can see both sides. He said he’s also done a lot of municipal work, so he understands the state—the municipality’s—position.
“I spent five years as a prosecutor in St. Charles County. I was in court everyday. I truly do like the courtroom,” Dignam said. “Currently I’ve been inhouse with a corporation based in Chicago, so I don’t get the opportunity to be in courtrooms as much. I truly love Brentwood. We’ve been here 13 years.”
