The following information was supplied by the Maplewood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Feb. 2
- A 2000 Acura TL was stolen from the area of Sutton Boulevard and Maple Avenue between 7 and 7:40 a.m. The car was left running with the keys in the ignition when it was stolen.
- Police are investigating the fraudulent use of a credit card at a Maplewood Commons business which was reported to police. With use of video surveillance, police were able to identify a suspect. Police are attempting to locate the male suspect at this time.
- Police arrested a 22-year-old woman for stealing approximately $185 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
Tuesday, Feb. 3
- Police arrested a 29-year-old man for stealing approximately $700 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The suspect was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thursday, Feb. 5
- Police arrested a 62-year-old man for trespassing in the 7200 block of Anna Avenue.
- Police arrested a 35-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
Friday, Feb. 6
- Police arrested a 32-year-old man for leaving the scene of an accident and driving while license suspended. This was a result of a traffic accident investigation that occurred in the area of Manchester and Sutton.
- Police arrested a 38-year-old man and 26-year-old woman for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. Both suspects were also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
- Police arrested a 30-year-old woman on domestic assault charges in the 3600 block of Manhattan.
Saturday, Feb. 7
- Police arrested a 30-year-old woman employee of a Maplewood Commons business in reference to stealing merchandise in excess of $2300. Police also arrested three other female suspects who were involved in the theft as well.
